WHO publishes draft updated guideline on quality risk management

The World Health Organization (WHO) has published a draft updated guideline to help manufacturers establish an effective quality risk management system and to help regulatory authorities plan their inspections. The document takes into account the principles of the ICH Q9 (R1) guideline. This is a further step towards the international harmonisation of risk-based quality management of medicines.

This review was prepared for the News section of the journal «Oʻzbekiston farmatsevtik xabarnomasi» (Pharmaceutical Bulletin of Uzbekistan).
