In May 2025, a delegation of the state institution Center for Safety of Pharmaceutical Products took part in the international USP Convention 2025, held in Rockville, Maryland, USA. The event served as one of the most authoritative forums of the global pharmaceutical community, offering a broad platform to discuss worldwide challenges in medicines quality.

The convention was notable for its high level of representation: it gathered representatives of more than 450 organizations from nearly 50 countries. Such wide participation clearly demonstrated that ensuring the quality and safety of medicines is a shared and pressing priority for all nations.

During the convention, participants examined global challenges related to the quality, safety, efficacy and accessibility of medicines and exchanged views on developing collaborative solutions to address them. They reached understandings on the tasks ahead and on avenues for cooperation.
