New draft texts of the Japanese Pharmacopoeia published for comment (PMDA)
Japan’s Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA) has published draft texts of the Japanese Pharmacopoeia (JP): 16 new monographs, 3 new crude drug monographs and reference spectra. Comments are accepted until 30 November 2026.
Japan’s Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA) has published draft texts of the Japanese Pharmacopoeia (JP): 16 new monographs (including Amlodipine Besilate and Atorvastatin Calcium Tablets; Arotinolol Hydrochloride Tablets; Ethyl Icosapentate Capsules; Heparinoid; Imidafenacin; Luliconazole and others), 3 new monographs for crude drugs (herbal medicines), 3 reference spectra in the ultraviolet-visible range and 4 reference spectra in the infrared range. Comments on the drafts are accepted until 30 November 2026.
