Center Specialists Admitted to IPRP Working Groups

Since January 2025, lead specialists Azamat Mansurov and Akmalkhoja Zaynidinov have joined the QWG and IDMPWG working groups of IPRP (Geneva).

Since January 2025, two lead specialists of the State Pharmacopoeia Development Department — Azamat Mansurov and Akmalkhoja Zaynidinov — have been formally admitted to prominent working groups of the International Pharmaceutical Regulators Programme (IPRP, Geneva, Switzerland). The step reflects the growing engagement of Uzbekistan's pharmacopoeial authority in global regulatory processes.

The two experts were assigned to separate thematic bodies: Azamat Mansurov joined the Quality Working Group (QWG), while Akmalkhoja Zaynidinov became a member of the Identification of Medicinal Products Working Group (IDMPWG).

During their membership, both specialists took an active part in more than ten meetings of these groups. In the course of the sessions, they presented international counterparts with detailed information on the structure of the "Center for Safety of Pharmaceutical Products" State Institution and the work of the State Pharmacopoeia Development Department.

Participation in the IPRP working groups broadens the opportunities for Uzbekistan's specialists to engage directly with the world's leading medicines regulators, to draw on advanced practices and regulatory approaches, and to harmonize the national pharmacopoeia with international requirements.
