Scientific Council: research capacity, priority areas of study and aligning the laboratories with international standards
On 28 October 2026, the 3rd meeting of the Scientific Council, chaired by Professor Kh.K. Djalilov, discussed a bank of 93 research topics for PhD and DSc candidates, five priority areas of research, and preparing the laboratories for WHO prequalification.
Developing the State Pharmacopoeia showcases the scientific potential of the state language
For Uzbek Language Day, the State Pharmacopoeia Development Department held an event at the «Tashkent Pharma Park» library on the legal foundations of the state language and pharmacopoeial terminology.
First Volume of the Second Edition of the State Pharmacopoeia Approved
Order No. 404 of the Minister of Health (29 December 2025) approved the first volume of the State Pharmacopoeia's second edition; the layout is complete and a print-and-electronic project is ready.

On 30 April 2026, a hybrid session chaired by Professor X.K. Djalilov reviewed the 1,325 individual monographs planned for Volume 2 of the second edition.
Uzbekistan Delegation Joins ICH Meetings in Rio de Janeiro and Signs Memorandum with NAFDAC
A delegation led by Center Director A. Temirov joined the ICH meetings in Rio de Janeiro; F. Usmonova was named Observer Expert on the ICH Q5E Annex working group, and a memorandum with NAFDAC was signed.
Tashkent hosts regional regulators meeting with USP: the Center joins the PAR programme
On 29–30 September 2026 the Center for Pharmaceutical Products Safety, together with the US Pharmacopeia (USP) and the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry, held a regional regulators meeting and the USP User Forum in Tashkent.
